Does

The does of the Whistlekick Pygora herd have been carefully selected over the years for their fiber quality, conformation and temperament. The herd is large enough to provide variety in fiber, but small enough that we know each goat individually. Our goaties are "part of the family" and are handled with love and care. We get a lot of joy out of our interaction with our Pygoras.

Note: For an explanation of micron counts, see our For Sale page.

Whistlekick's Molly
Molly was the kid who started our love affair with goats. Since she was raised with our horses before any other goaties came to live here, Molly was convinced that she was a horse, preferring to spend her time with the horses rather than the goats (ok, who are we fooling? If we had let her, Molly would have been in the house with us). Although she is gone, Molly is not forgotten!

You're not supposed to have favorites, but I have to admit that I do and Ginger is it. Hard to believe she is 11 already! She still is the explorer of the herd. Knowing no fear (and few boundaries), Ginger is our herd queen, leading the goats out to graze and back to the barn when it is time ot nap. Ginger has a soft, deep, thick coat of caramel once a year.

Born April 2018 with her twin brother, Ranger, to mom Remington, Rosalee is a tomboy. Despite her angelic appearance, she prefers to play 'bucky' games with the boys, often winning the top of the hill. She was the first one up the teeter totter. She does like to be scratched and petted, especially under her chin. And she has that lovely, medium caramel coat.
Shakira and Grant Whistlekick Shakira

What can you say about this sweet little doeling? Twin sister to Scooter and out of Sofia, Shakira is dainty and soft. She has cute wattles like her brother. Unlike Rosalee, when the boys start rough housing, she takes cover. Her favorite place is snuggled in Grant's arms.
